-on the units right side the forward ACI plate has been placed on the cab nose side as illustrated in the prototype photo of 6940 to illustrate the detail and placement. -Airhorn mounted above the cab...based upon a July 1979 decision by UP to move airhorns from the mid-portion of the locomotive forward at the next scheduled major shopping.
-Notice red sill stripe is not constant across the front and rear of the unit. -Features a 2nd version of lettering. Notice where each of the large UNION PACIFIC letters begin and end on the engine compartment doors.
